Today is a great day! We are celebrating filling up our 100 Board as a school. Our cool teachers, Student Council and Techniteer Troupe presented a program for us to celebrate our success. 100 squares takes a lot of PAWS tickets to fill up, so way to go to all the boys and girls who helped us fill them up. To get your name on a square, you have to have earned five PAWS tickets. That's a lot of good choices. The celebration included dancing, skits, videos and a kabuki cannon! Ask your child what PAWS means. We've got this down.
You are always welcome to attend. See our agenda here: SCC Agenda January 2018.pdf
Teacher of the Year nominations can now be made using the following form. After completing the form, please return the form to the school where a committee of parents and the principal will make the final recommendation for Midvalley Elementary. The school teacher of the year has the opportunity to be considered for the Canyons School District Teacher of the Year. That teacher is considered for the Utah Teacher of the Year. We have some great teachers at Midvalley Elementary. There are so many ways to thank our teachers. Here is just one.
You have an exciting job and think students should be considering it in their future! Come share your enthusiasm with our students on Career Day, Friday, January 26, 2018. Forms have been sent home with students. Didn't see one? Please feel free to call our office. Presenters should arrive at the school at 8:25 am. Presentations start at 8:45 am.
