2.  Title I Update

Margaret and Ms. Bell shared the results of our Title I consultation.  They identified schoolwide strengths on which to build (and celebrate) and determined high leverage priorities that will impact student achievement when addressed schoolwide.  Data from previous years was analyzed while looking closely at achievement gaps.  Time was spent looking specifically at our Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) groups:  Economically Disadvantaged, English Learners, and Special Education.  There was discussion on instructional stategies we can implement schoolwide to better meet their learning needs.  Our next step is to look at root causes of underperformance in high leverage priorities with our leadership team.

Discussion regarding how to get additional input from community on Title I funds are spent.  It was decided that the school would have a survey for families to fill out upon arrival to our upcoming literacy night on March 24th.
