  • Input from the Community if present – Brief follow up on the school parking lot and where we are at with providing additional parking for families.  Our plan is to put our suggestions in our safe walking route plan due in January.  It was also brought to the school’s attention that we have goat heads near 260 E 7800 S.  One of our parents reached out to Midvale Public Works.  He shared that “Midvale Police, who investigated my claim in this regard. They said this park strip is Midvale City’s responsibility, not the homeowner’s. The detective referenced a city’s code saying park strips not directly in front of the house and are on the corner are the city’s responsibility. Anyways, he said he would pass the complaint to Midvale Public Works, and hopefully, they’ll clean it up.”  Margaret also called them.  This also can be added to our SNAP plan.
