This year we implemented a home reading program where students were encouraged to read 20 minutes every day at home. Each week students that returned their reading folders would be entered in a drawing to win a $5 gift card. We saved all the names of everyone who turned in reading folders each week to be in an end of the year drawing for scooters. Each grade was awarded 2 scooters. Jr Huskys excelled with this new home reading program.
