CSD Foundation Awards Grant to Midvalley Music Program

Posted in News & Announcements

Our school had a surprise visit today from the CSD Foundation. Mrs. Culberson, our wonderful music teacher was awarded a BIG check for her grant--$9,620 to buy brand new ORFF instruments for our school program. She wrote a very compelling grant showing how music can help support academics from current research. Mont Millerburg, our always supportive Board Member was on hand, and even played some beat band with the students. Congratulations! $9,690! A big thanks to the Foundation!

Eagle Scout-Brady Hunter

Posted in News & Announcements

An Eagle Scout candidate, Brady Hunter, has led a project to collect coats, hats, and gloves for any Junior Husky who might need to be wrapped up in warmth this winter. Today, he delivered three large boxes of potential warm "hugs" for the children in our school. With colder weather ahead, we are grateful we can support any family in our school who would be able to use these resources. Please contact Mrs. Gallman at the school, if you would like some Midvalley "cuddles" to keep your fingers and noggins warm! Thank you, Brady!
