Smith's Inspiring Donations

If you have a Smith's Rewards Card, you can designate Midvalley Elementary as your school. Every time you shop, our school gets money. Just follow the link below. Our school code is RL740. It's that easy! (You have to sign up every year, so if you signed up last year, you will need to do it again.) If you have neighbors who don't have students at a school, we'd love to have them join, too!  #Money4Kids #MidvalleyCommunityThatCares

Parent Back-to-School Night, Thursday, Aug 31

Posted in News & Announcements

Parents and guardians, please join us for a Parent Back to School Night on Thursday, August 31, 7:00-8:00 pm.

Please go directly to your child's classroom upon arrival. We will have a school-wide meeting at 7:00 pm over the intercom for the first few minutes.

Then, teachers will present for 20 minutes about what your child will learn this year. Next, we will change classrooms, for parents with more than one child, and the teachers will repeat their presentation for their classroom for the second session. If you only have one student at our school, you are welcome to leave.

The evening will end at 8:00 pm. Come hear about the great things happening at Midvalley Elementary!back to school 1622789 1280

Junior Huskies Start a New Learning Year

Posted in News & Announcements

Greetings to our Junior Husky Community! Thank you to everyone who has made the beginning of our year a big success. Our faculty, staff, parents, and students are happy to be back in school. All students were greeted on the red carpet the first day by fifth grade leaders, REAL Soccer players, visiting District Administrators, the Principal and staff. It was a "high five" day!

Coming up this week, our kindergarten friends will start on Monday, August 28. This will be our first year to provide Supplemental Full-Day Kindergarten. We also offer three half-day sessions. We can't wait to see them!

A reminder for ALL PARENTS: We will be holding our Back to School Night, this coming Thursday, August 31, from 7:00-8:00 pm. Please go to your child's class at 7:00 pm. We will be holding our general meeting in the classrooms this year. Teachers will present what your child will be learning this year from 7:10-7:30. There will be a five minute break. If you have more than one child, you can visit the other classroom from 7:35-8:00 pm to receive the information for the additional classroom. We will end promptly at 8:00 pm, so our custodians can get the school ready for Friday. This is a night to learn what your student(s) will be studying this year in school, and how you can help them. We are a no homework school, so how can you help them every night? Read, read, read!

We have a wonderful, supportive community. As always, please feel free to call us at the school, if you need any assistance. Spanish translators are available.

Cheers to a great new year of learning!
