Agenda Items

  • DP made a motion to approve previous minutes, AJ made a motion to second them
  • Review school data that may have come in at end-of-year or over summer, previous year’s plans and current year’s plans
    • Winter Acadience – discussed glows and grows from our winter data.  ELA scores are higher than last year.  We think this due to us becoming more familiar with our new curriculum.  4th grade math is a concern–Margaret shared that this is pattern across the district.  We also see this as a vertical alignment  piece in teaching math at Midvalley.
    • Start creating TSSP 2025 – Margaret shared a draft of our TSSP; SCC supports the direction of the teachers.
  • Model DLI School – Midvalley has been selected to be a model school for DLI.  Our DLI Spanish teachers will receive additional PD, coaching, and other supports to ensure we have all of the components in place.  DLI teacher will be paid a stipend for their additional work.  We may explore this model in our neighborhood classes should we find success.
