2.  Boundary Change – Revisit

Give Feedback on Midvale-Area Boundary Study 

Canyons School District invites the Midvale community to participate in a review of the attendance boundaries for Copperview, East Midvale, Midvale and Midvalley elementary schools. What is the public input process? What changes are being proposed, and how soon could those changes take effect? For answers to these questions, please see these informational videos (English/Español), or join us at one of the Open House events listed below:

3.  Remote Learning Fridays

Discussion on Remote Learning Fridays and how they are going for our Midvalley families.  We have two left –

4.  Mid-year Data – New

SCC looked winter Acadience data results.  We are excited to see growth in our student’s abilities–we have more work to do and plans for meeting our students’ learning needs.

2022 End of year goals –

  • ELA
    • 75% of K – 3rd graders will make typical or better growth in reading as measured by Acadience Pathways of Progress by the end of 2021-2022 school year.
  • Mathematics 
    • 60% of K – 3rd grade students will be proficient as measured by Acadience mathematics measures 2022.
    • 3rd – 5th grade students will increase mathematics RISE scores by 5 percentage points by the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

5. Begin writing TSSP and LAND Trust plans for next school year.

  • TSSP will be worked on by school and goals/direction shared with SCC for input.
  • SCC will write and develop LAND Trust plan to address one or more goals from TSSP.
  • Margaret will create a draft based on SCC and teacher input.  It will be sent out to SCC prior to our next meeting.
