Agenda Items

  • Approved last month’s agenda.
  • Review current year’s LAND Trust plan, data and expenditures and review if on course or if amendments are necessary.
    • Margaret shared our TSI status for our students groups in which we are in TSI status for – MLs, Hispanic, and SPED.  We made sufficient progress for all three groups on RISE last spring.  We need one more year of sufficient progress to no longer be in TSI status.
  • School Safety report and Digital Citizenship discussion–finalize reports
    • SCC reviewed school safety report and digital citizenship on data dashboard.  Reports were approved and submitted.
  • Parking Lot
    • SCC reviewed a patron’s proposed change to our parking lot flow which included making the lane in front of the school have the merging occur in front of the school instead of where it currently occurs which is right after families enter our parking lot.  SCC determined that our system is working as families all leave our campus in under 12 minutes.  It was also noted that while our families do get backed up on 7800 S — our families do a good job pulling to the side of the road so traffic can get around them.
  • Discuss Child Access Routing Plan (SNAP) and prepare recommendations
    • SCC reviewed what we turned in last year.  SCC recommends that we request that we extend our parking lot and is aware of a new community being built.  They also wanted to know if we should use our new boundaries which changes next fall.  Margaret will follow up on that.
  • October safety drill report and budgets
    • October Drill – Shelter in Place
      • Drill went well–our Jr. Huskies are the best!
    • Cell Tower
      • 4,341.62
      • SCC recommended that 4,341.62 be transferred to Principal Discretionary so that the funds are spent on teachers–specifically–teacher meals, teacher gifts, and to help with Sunshine Committee activities.
    • Land Trust
      • 67,520 2022 Allocation
      • 47,772.62 – Nov. 1st
