Agenda Items

  • Follow-Up – SCC ParentSquare
    • Margaret shared draft email regarding asking parents to fill out free and reduced lunch form.  SCC approved sending it out. 
  •  Plans
    • School Safety Plan
    • Digital Citizenship
    • Safe Walking Route
      • SCC went through each plan and completed them.  Margaret will make the additional edits and send them out asap.  They are due on Nov. 1st.
  • Review school data that may have come in at end-of-year or over summer, previous year’s plans and current year’s plans
    • TSI Subgroup RISE Data
      • SCC reviewed our TSI subgroups RISE data.  It was exciting to see our students maintain our achievement from last year.
    • Fall Acadience
      • SCC reviewed fall acadience data.  We are maintaining our achievement from previous year.  Our focus is on the growth–specifically–% making typical or better growth.
  • Moms Matter
    • Our moms gave us great feedback from our first moms matter event.  They had great questions about bullying, inappropriate touching, vandalism–and how the school response to it. 
  • Behavior/Attendance
    • Margaret talked through behavior and academic concerns.  SCC suggested that communication be added to Ms. Wendy’s monthly newsletter and Husky Happenings on what parents can do to support.  Our first topic will be Respect and Personal Boundaries as our students are working on keeping their hands to themselves.  For attendance, teachers will continue to work directly with families of students who are missing school.  We really needs kids on campus to teach them.

    • Canyons Guidelines
    • SCC continues to support No Treats/Outside Food in classrooms due to allergies and other health related concerns.  We want our classrooms to be safe and inclusive for ALL students.  Families who have concerns are encouraged to join our SCC meetings.
  • September safety drill report and budgets
    • August Drill – Fire, Lockdown with Run, Hide, Fight Video for employees

    • Land Trust – $66,990.21
    • TSSP – $87,841.78
