  • D. Pipkin made a motion to approve last meeting’s minutes, A. Jordan seconded the motion
  • Voting Procedures – D. Pipkin reviewed learning from SCC training.  Our process will be to make a motion, second the motion, ask for objections to ensure all voices are heard.
  •  Plans
    • Safe Walking Route Plan – Alison Stroud updated SCC on her work with Bryce Dr and the sidewalk.

On Bryce Dr, off of 8000 South, the sidewalk ends. Midvalley SCC would like for the sidewalk to be consistent from 8400 South to 8000 South.

Sidewalk is missing on both sides of the street between 8300 S and 8400 S. Sandy City Council Member Alison Stroud shared that we currently have a project underway to install the missing sidewalk. From Ryan Kump – We’ve advertised for a new transportation engineer and assistant city engineer. Once we have new people hired, Bryce Drive and the Debris Flow Study will be the first projects assigned to the new assistant city engineer. It would be great to have the school community council support and potentially host a neighborhood meeting, which is still our next step on the project. If you update them that we have a concept, but need new staff and a community meeting to kick it off, then perhaps we can get some support from them to assist us when we approach the homeowners.” – SCC completed plan
