Agenda Items

  • Organize school council
    • Elect chair and vice chair
      • Committee voted for Daniel to be chair and Candice to be vice chair
    • Review rules of order and procedure and post on website
    • Set meeting schedule for the year and post on website
      • Committee will meet on Wednesday @ 3:45pm.  Margaret will send out dates to confirm schedule.
    • Post roster on website with, at least, one form of contact for each member
    • Review requirements for SCC open meeting requirements
    • Review bylaws or write bylaws if you don’t currently have; post current copy on website
  • Review school data that may have come in at end-of-year or over summer, previous year’s plans and current year’s plans
    • Acadience data will be presented at next meeting.  
  • Enrollment
    • Midvalley’s enrollment is stable.  We ended up qualifying for another teacher who will join our 4th grade team.  
  • August safety drill report and budgets
    • August Drill – Fire
    • Cell Tower – Margaret made a motion to move Cell Tower funds ($2,500) to principal discretionary.  All members voted to approve.  Funds will be spent on teacher meals and gifts for teachers.
    • Land Trust
    • TSSP
  • Input from the Community if present
    • SCC requested that Margaret bring enrollment, behavior, and attendance data to next meeting.
    • Margaret will send out Boundary Study from Board Meeting.
    • Goat Head – Margaret will get address and reach out Midvale City
